We are thrilled to officially announce the conductor lineup for our upcoming 2026–2027 season! Please join us in extending a warm, enthusiastic welcome to Colin Clarke, Mark McCallen, and Pratik Gandhi, who will each take the podium to lead our ensemble this year.

Behind the scenes, the energy is electric. Our musicians are immensely excited for the opportunity to collaborate with each of these distinguished leaders, whose combined artistry, vision, and passion promise to elevate our orchestra to new creative heights.

Colin Clarke

A Member of the Order of Canada, Colin is renowned for his passionate conducting, commitment to youth outreach, and artistic direction. Clarke grew up in Brampton and attended Chinguacousy Secondary School, where his involvement in music became an important part of his formative years. As the founder of the multi-award-winning Toronto Youth Wind Orchestra and Music Director of the Oakville Symphony Youth Orchestra, he brings decades of acclaimed experience leading ensembles on prestigious stages worldwide, including Carnegie Hall.

Mark McCallen

A graduate of St. Michael's Choir School and the University of Toronto, and Brampton resident, Mark is the founder and Artistic Director of the Brampton Children's Chorus. With a strong background in choral studies and music education, he has dedicated his career to fostering collaborative musical experiences and nurturing community talent.

Pratik Gandhi

A versatile conductor, researcher, and sessional lecturer at the University of Toronto, Pratik serves as Music Director of the Rouge River Winds and the Milton Philharmonic Orchestra. Known for advocating equity and representation in orchestral repertoire, he is also active as a guest conductor, adjudicator, and Vice-Chair of MusicFest Canada.
